Today first graders in Mrs. Russell's and Miss Barry's classes
shared their animal habitat projects with family and friends.
They researched facts about polar bears, beluga whales, artic foxes, tree frogs, sloths and many more. Each student created a 3-D display of its habitat. Cody Campo learned artic foxes can run up to 30 mph and live in the tundra. Angelina reported that male beluga whales weigh 3,000 lbs while females weigh 2,000 lb. "The best part was learning new things," says Angelina.
