Lindsay, Gabby and Michael enjoy a springtime lunch with their third grade teacher, Ms. Mahoney. Each week toward the year's end, students picnic with her on blankets and enjoy each other's company in a social way with lots of giggling in between!

Fifth graders prepared for MCAS science testing with the help of Ms. Bauman and Mrs. Slagen. Using a guitar, autoharp, xylophone, and mallets students discussed sound energy. They predicted and tested different ways to change the pitch on the strings of musical instruments.
One week in April, 20 third, fourth and fifth grade South School students were scientists/engineers designing rockets under the direction of Mrs. Laura Smith, science teacher at OMS. It was a favorite after school enrichment program made possible by the Stoughton School District.
South School students are so fortunate to have former sharks come back to help them with their homework on Monday through Thursday afternoons. The South alum include Nikki and Tori Soncrant, Brit and Haley Bushlow, Kate Jolley, and Thomas Smith. Vicky looks way too happy to be doing homework!
Room 6 students are proudly showing off that they wrote the notes for the song "We are Dancing in the Forest" and even drew the treble clef at the beginning!
