Mrs. Doherty's science students from her homeroom and Miss Asztalos' class researched on their iPads, presented with Prezi's and created volcanoes with Mrs. Jarasitis, the art teacher.
P.S. Monkeys and hedgehogs don't live near volcanoes. The project presentations coincided with stuffed animal day! Chee Nul Ka Packnett speaks to South School Students after his presentation about his Native American Culture. Students danced, listened to stories, asked questions and learned life lessons about good eating, exercise and respect. The event was sponsored by the South School PTO Inc.
Seven South School students attended a Humanities Camp during February Vacation. They joined students from all five elementary schools at the West School. "It was fun having something to do with other kids in Stoughton and learn new things at the same time." During April vacation, a STEM Camp will be offered. Students will engage in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics! Look for an invitation to all third, 4th and fifth graders in March. |
