Last Friday, the South School was proud to recognize and acknowledge our students that participated in the Summer Reading Program. This week, not only did the O'Donnell Middle School do the same but because the students at OMS exceeded the goal of 2,013 set at the beginning of the summer (students read a total 2,090 books), their celebration was highlighted by a visit and a speech by Patriots cornerback, Devin McCourty. We here at the South School are very proud to report that Molly Turner, a current 7th grader and former South School student, was the top reader for all grades with a total of 47 books. Way to go, Molly! Keep up the good work!
