South School students and staff will pay tribute to the strength, stamina, resilience and recovery of those affected by the Boston Marathon event from one year ago. Whether we initially came to Boston to attend college, enjoy dining and site seeing in the city, moved from Boston or have family members who are first responders, we simply all have a special connection to this great city. Where do we say we are from when traveling stateside or overseas? BOSTON. The impact of that day continues to stay with us on this anniversary. Let's remember those who are still pushing through the sadness, loss and recovery process. Show your Boston Strong Spirit on Thursday, April 17th. Thanks to Miss Mahoney and Mrs. Johnson who serve on the South School Council, and suggested this spirit day. Their students made posters and displayed them around the building. Look for a Sea of Yellow and Blue or Boston sports team attire! (Photo by Mrs. Jolley)
